RISING POWER was crowded for room on jumping between MEGATRON and SUPERNATURAL which shifted out. After being bumped on the hindquarters by RISING POWER, MEGATRON shifted in abruptly, resulting in RISING POWER being checked. After this, SUPERNATURAL was ridden along, however, was slow to muster speed. BORN TO RACE began awkwardly. After this, BORN TO RACE was ridden along in an attempt to obtain a more forward position. From wide barriers, PRINCE FALCON and PACKING GO GO were shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After travelling a short distance, KIRAM was awkwardly placed outside the heels of WORKS OF ART. Approaching and passing the 1200 Metres, SUPERNATURAL hung out and then making the turn near the 950 Metres shifted out and bumped KIRAM. MONEY MAN and PRINCE FALCON, which were following, were hampered in consequence. SUPERNATURAL then continued to race with its head on the side and lay out and making the turn after the 600 Metres hung out across the heels of KIRAM and was checked. BORN TO RACE, which was racing to the outside of SUPERNATURAL, was taken wider in this incident. SUPERNATURAL continued to hang out until entering the Home Straight. The racing manners of SUPERNATURAL were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, SUPERNATURAL will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial around a bend. Passing the 900 Metres, KIRAM raced very close to the heels of TRAVEL AMBASSADOR which was awkwardly placed behind SOUL ACHIEVER. TRAVEL AMBASSADOR was then shifted out away from the heels of SOUL ACHIEVER near the 850 Metres and was allowed to improve its position into the lead. Passing the 500 Metres, PACKING GO GO and PRINCE FALCON raced tight as PACKING GO GO improved into tight running outside MONEY MAN. PACKING GO GO was then awkwardly placed close to the heels of MONEY MAN rounding the Home Turn when racing tight inside PRINCE FALCON which became unbalanced. Passing the 300 Metres, MONEY MAN was shifted to the outside of MEGATRON after being disappointed for running inside that horse. MONEY MAN then had difficulty obtaining clear running approaching and passing the 200 Metres. Passing the 150 Metres, PACKING GO GO, which was closing off the race, was crowded for room between HAPPY FIERY DRAGON and SUPERNATURAL which shifted in marginally under pressure. In this incident, HAPPY FIERY DRAGON was bumped by PACKING GO GO. A veterinary inspection of BORN TO RACE and TRAVEL AMBASSADOR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. WORKS OF ART and KIRAM were sent for sampling.
