MEDIC SWORDSMAN proved difficult to load. Before being allowed to race again, MEDIC SWORDSMAN will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. MEDIC SWORDSMAN was crowded for room on jumping between DOUBLE POINT and GOOD LUCK MAN which shifted in. From the outside barriers, SPICY DOUBLE, MASTER PINNACLE and CASA MASTER were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the winning post on the first occasion, SHOW MISSION was bumped by DUTCH WINDMILL which lay in away from GOOD LUCK MAN. After passing the winning post on the first occasion, DUTCH WINDMILL was then left racing wide and without cover. Passing the winning post on the first occasion, YEUNG SING and MEDIC SWORDSMAN raced tight. After the 1200 Metres, GOOD LUCK MAN travelled keenly in the lead. Approaching the 800 Metres, SPICY DOUBLE commenced to travel keenly and was checked away from the heels of YEUNG SING. Making the turn after the 600 Metres, SPICY DOUBLE got its head on the side and shifted out when racing close to the heels of CHARITY PLENTY and as a consequence bumped YEUNG SING which was racing tight inside CASA MASTER. After this, SPICY DOUBLE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of CHARITY PLENTY for some distance. Rounding the Home Turn, DASHING FORTUNE raced tight inside JIMSON THE FAMOUS. At the entrance to the Straight, SPICY DOUBLE was steadied away from the heels of DOUBLE POINT. Shortly after entering the Straight and again near the 200 Metres, JIMSON THE FAMOUS and SHOW MISSION raced tight due to SHOW MISSION laying in. In the early part of the Straight, MASTER PINNACLE lay in. SPICY DOUBLE had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight and then approaching the 200 Metres was directed in away from the heels of DASHING FORTUNE to improve. Passing the 200 Metres, SPICY DOUBLE was shifted further to the inside of GOOD LUCK MAN to obtain clear running. YEUNG SING was held up for a run in the early part of the Straight and approaching the 200 Metres was directed to the outside of CASA MASTER to obtain clear running. Over the concluding stages, SPICY DOUBLE got its head on the side and hung out, obliging its rider to stop riding and correct his mount. A veterinary inspection of JIMSON THE FAMOUS and DOUBLE POINT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. SPICY DOUBLE, CASA MASTER and YEUNG SING were sent for sampling.
