YOUNG SUPREME and VAJRA THRONE bumped at the start, resulting in YOUNG SUPREME shifting in and making contact with TELECOM CHIEF. FLYING KEEPER and ABLE DRAGON were slow to begin. VAJRA THRONE lost its left front plate shortly after the start. From the outside barriers, WINE LOVERS and SUPER TEAM were taken across behind runners shortly after the start. When being steadied near the 1100 Metres, YOUNG SUPREME got its head up. YOUNG SUPREME again got its head up approaching the 900 Metres when being steadied to obtain cover. Making the first turn near the 1050 Metres, YOUNG SUPREME, VAJRA THRONE and MIGHT AND VISION raced tight between ENJOY THE FUN and MASSIVE which shifted in slightly. Making the turn after the 600 Metres, TELECOM CHIEF was steadied away from the heels of ENJOY THE FUN which shifted in when racing tight inside YOUNG SUPREME. After the 200 Metres, DRAGON CHOICE was awkwardly placed outside the heels of TELECOM CHIEF which shifted out. Throughout the race, MIGHT AND VISION travelled wide and without cover. NOVEL START and ENJOY THE FUN were sent for sampling.
