BOTH SURE was withdrawn on 20.12.13 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (inappetence). Before being allowed to race again, BOTH SURE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. KABAYAN was severely checked on jumping when crowded for room between DIVINE DIYA and ONGOING VOLATILITY, both of which shifted ground despite the efforts of their respective riders. KING OF HOUSEHOLD was crowded for room at the start between OMOTESANDO and SNITZEL KID which shifted out. During this incident, KING OF HOUSEHOLD lost its left front plate. From the outside barrier, MAZANDARAN was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. After the 800 Metres, GREAT CHARM was shifted out from behind OMOTESANDO into a position three wide without cover. At various points during the early and middle stages, both ONGOING VOLATILITY and DIVINE DIYA raced wide and without cover. At the 400 Metres, MEGA CHAMPION was shifted to the outside of KING OF HOUSEHOLD. At the 300 Metres, MEGA CHAMPION was steadied when disappointed for running between KING OF HOUSEHOLD and PACKING LLAREGYB which, after initially being taken in by REAL TREAT, then shifted in further to obtain clear running inside SNITZEL KID. After the race, K Teetan reported that KING OF HOUSEHOLD made an abnormal respiratory noise during the race. A veterinary inspection of KING OF HOUSEHOLD immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. A veterinary inspection of OMOTESANDO and DIVINE DIYA immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. GREAT CHARM and KABAYAN were sent for sampling.
