ST YAZIN had its tongue tie adjusted behind the barriers. From outside barriers, DISCIPLES TWELVE and NEWS SUPREME were taken across behind runners shortly after the start. KIDS AND WIN and ST YAZIN bumped at the start. Making the turn near the 1000 Metres, GOLDEN HARVEST got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of SWIFT SHADOW which was taken out by ST YAZIN which shifted ground when awkwardly placed close to the heels of MI SAVVY and travelling keenly. After this, ST YAZIN continued to prove difficult to settle and was awkwardly placed close to the heels of MI SAVVY. At the 600 Metres, KIDS AND WIN became unbalanced when crowded for room inside MI SAVVY which, despite the efforts of its rider, got its head on the side and lay in. DISCIPLES TWELVE, which was following, was hampered in consequence. Making the turn after the 600 Metres, GOLDEN HARVEST shifted out after being awkwardly placed close to the heels of SWIFT SHADOW. Rounding the Home Turn, ROYAL PARTNER was steadied and shifted in when disappointed for running between BOULD MOVER and ST YAZIN which shifted out. Close to the finishing line, KIDS AND WIN was awkwardly placed inside the heels of SUNSHINE KID which got its head on the side and shifted in slightly. NEWS SUPREME lay in under pressure in the Straight. Throughout the race, BOULD MOVER travelled wide and without cover. MI SAVVY and GOLDEN HARVEST were sent for sampling.
