CHINA GOOD began awkwardly. Passing the 600 Metres, SPEEDYGONZALEZ was awkwardly placed close to the heels of RED LUCKY STAR. Near the 550 Metres, ALL TIMES LUCKY momentarily raced tight inside GREAT ALEXANDER which was taken in marginally by TRUE COURAGE which travelled wide and without cover throughout the race. After the 200 Metres, SPEEDYGONZALEZ momentarily raced in restricted room inside RED LUCKY STAR (O Doleuze) which shifted in under pressure. In this incident, O Doleuze briefly lost the use of his left rein. Near the 150 Metres, JOYFUL LUCK, which in the early part of the Straight got its head on the side and hung in, raced tight between RED COURAGE and D DAY SUPER which shifted out away from the heels of GREAT ALEXANDER which was giving ground. A veterinary inspection of RED COURAGE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious. A veterinary inspection of GREAT ALEXANDER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. RED LUCKY STAR, GOLDEN BAUHINIA and SPEEDYGONZALEZ were sent for sampling. <12/9/2013 Additional Veterinary Report>The Clinical Veterinary Surgeon reported that PO CHING KING was found to be lame in its left front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, PO CHING KING will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
