SOLDIER began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped THE ONLY KID. TRAVEL SMART began only fairly. From the outside barrier, KEEN TACTICS was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Just prior to the 800 Metres, CHAMPION MOUNT broke down and was retired from the race. LIFE OF BEAUTY, which was following, was severely checked and shifted to the inside of that horse. KEEN TACTICS, which was racing outside of CHAMPION MOUNT, was bumped and taken wider and THE ONLY KID, which was following KEEN TACTICS, was obliged to shift out abruptly away from the heels of that horse. KING HARADASUN was also hampered. At the entrance to the Straight, LIFE OF BEAUTY was shifted out away from the heels of FOLLOW THE WIND. Passing the 400 Metres, STEP FASTER was awkwardly placed close to the heels of TRAVEL GUIDE. After the 200 Metres, SUPERKING DRAGON was shifted in away from the heels of SOLDIER which was giving ground. Throughout the race, SOLDIER travelled wide and without cover. LIFE OF BEAUTY and FOLLOW THE WIND were sent for sampling. <27/5/2013 Additional Veterinary Report>The Veterinary Officer reported that SUPERKING DRAGON was lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, SUPERKING DRAGON will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
