As SOMETHING SPECIAL has performed in a similar manner previously, that horse will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial before being allowed to race again. After being loaded, MOUNT VICTORY became fractious. Before being allowed to race again, MOUNT VICTORY will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. From the outside barrier, MY WAY was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Approaching the 1500 Metres, TRAVEL GUIDE was momentarily crowded for room between ZEZAO and MR SPEEDY which shifted in. MR SPEEDY was immediately corrected by its rider.
