EASY WINNER was slow to begin. DOUBLE LUCK and HAPPY REUNION began awkwardly. From a wide draw, CARS KING PRAWN was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Near the 1000 Metres, DRAGON FIGHTER was steadied when racing in restricted room between FINN MACCOOL and UNION`S STAR. Approaching the 200 Metres, HAPPY REUNION, which was laying in, got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of LOVE LOCKDOWN which shifted out. Throughout the race, LOVE LOCKDOWN travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of HAPPY REUNION after the race including an endoscopic examination revealed that the horse was a ``roarer`` which had previously been reported. A veterinary inspection of LOVE LOCKDOWN after the race did not show any significant findings. EASY WINNER, PERFECT GEAR and DOUBLE LUCK were sent for sampling.
