Steward Report Predict Pace Map
As the start was effected, TERRIFIC BRETHREN lifted its front feet off the ground and consequently was slow to begin. After this, TERRIFIC BRETHREN failed to muster speed and tailed out throughout the race. K L Chui, the rider of TERRIFIC BRETHREN, said that the horse was reluctant to stride out at any stage of the race. A veterinary inspection of TERRIFIC BRETHREN after the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of TERRIFIC BRETHREN was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, TERRIFIC BRETHREN will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. KINGS FALCON began awkwardly and shortly after the start was steadied away from the heels of SKYVIEW BAR which shifted in. Shortly after the start, ROMPING was buffeted between IRISH JIG and OPERATION SECRET which shifted out. WHITE JADE was slow to begin and shortly after the start was momentarily crowded for room between IRISH JIG which shifted out after being bumped by ROMPING and TERRIFIC BRETHREN which shifted in. OUR LUCKY BABY hung out rounding the Home Turn. Throughout the race, DREAM TEAM travelled wide and without cover. Y T Cheng (WHITE JADE) was questioned regarding IRISH JIG being able to shift out to improve its position to his inside shortly after entering the Straight. Y T Cheng was advised to ensure that at all times he rides his mounts competitively and maintains advantageous positions wherever possible. BEAUTY FLASH and KINGS FALCON were sent for sampling.
