STELLAR SWIFT (J139): Bumped at the start. Making the Home Turn was held up behind BOWSER. Sent for sampling post-race. TURF PHOENIX (J294): Lay out making the Home Turn. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. BOWSER (H460): In the early part of the Home Straight was held up when unable to improve between BRAVE JOY and BEAUTY THUNDER. As a result BOWSER was shifted to the outside of BEAUTY THUNDER where it obtained clear running near the 250 Metres. GALVANIC (H147): Trainer C Fownes advised that Jockey B Avdulla was given the option of taking up a forward position if his mount commenced well. Despite being ridden along in the early stages GALVANIC did not show sufficient pace to hold a forward position and as a result was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. BEAUTY THUNDER (J299): Sent for sampling post-race. CLUB ACE (J523): On jumping was bumped heavily by RICH HORSE and then was crowded by TELECOM POWER which shifted in before being corrected by its rider. After the event, A Atzeni stated that his instructions were to allow his mount to settle where comfortable and not to make use of it in the early stages as CLUB ACE had not finished its races off at its most recent race starts when ridden in this manner. He said after being crowded at the start CLUB ACE settled in a midfield position where it travelled comfortably. He added in the Home Straight CLUB ACE finished the race off only fairly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. RICH HORSE (J191): On jumping was bumped heavily by CLUB ACE and then was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. SUPER GOLDI (H477): No report. ACE POWER (J181): Bumped at the start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. BRAVE JOY (J307): No report. SUPER CHARIZZARD (J184): After the event, L Ferraris stated that from the outside barrier his instructions were to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages. Trainer M Newnham confirmed the instructions and stated that he issued such instructions as SUPER CHARIZZARD did not finish the race off strongly when ridden forward from a wide barrier on 5 February 2025. TELECOM POWER (J332): Shifted in shortly after the start, made contact with CLUB ACE and became unbalanced. In the Home Straight lay out, resulting in its rider Y L Chung changing his whip through to his left hand leaving the 200 Metres.
